Alexandria Beyond the Classroom is pleased to offer the ALX Beyond Provider Portal, which serves as the gateway to the Youth Program Locator.

Expanded learning and out-of-school time providers serving youth (ages 3-19) within the City of Alexandria are encouraged to list their programming on this public-facing locator. Through the Youth Program Locator, families, youth, community members, and supporters can learn about current expanded learning offerings and connect with providers in the City of Alexandria.

Summer is still in full swing, but school year preparations are right around the corner! Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) students will be back in school on Monday, August 24. Parents, guardians, family members, and students will be looking for expanded learning and out-of-school time opportunities that meet their needs and interests.

The ALX Beyond Youth Program Locator will be broadly circulated to families as the school year begins. The locator was recently annualized with dates for the upcoming academic year. For programs to be visible to the public, every provider needs to log into the ALX Beyond Provider Portal and update their program dates and listings for the 2026-27 school year.

Directions to Update Program Listings

Log into the ALX Beyond Provider Portal.

Check your "Add Organization Information" page to ensure all information is up-to-date. If any changes were made, save and submit the form. A green check mark should appear next to "Add Organization Information" on your dashboard.

Check your "Add Sites" page to ensure the correct locations are listed for your program. If any changes needed to be made, save and submit each site form. A green check mark should appear next to "Add Sites" on your dashboard.

Go to the "Add or Update Programs & Schedules" page. Select each program, scroll down the "Schedule" section, and update the dates for your program to reflect the 2026-27 school year (including summer 2027, if applicable). Save and submit each program form. When completed, all program listings should be listed as "Submitted."

When complete, your dashboard should have green check marks listed next to each page. Your updated listings will be visible in 24 hours. Check your listings for accuracy on the Youth Program Locator the next day.
