Alexandria Beyond the Classroom is pleased to offer the ALX Beyond Provider Portal, which serves as the gateway to the Youth Program Locator.

Expanded learning and out-of-school time providers serving youth (ages 3-19) within the City of Alexandria are encouraged to list their programming on this public-facing locator. Through the Youth Program Locator, families, youth, community members, and supporters can learn about current expanded learning offerings and connect with providers in the City of Alexandria.

Summer is only a few weeks away! Thank you for the memorable experiences you and your team will be providing for Alexandria's children and youth this summer!

Over the summer, many of you will be planning for the fall. As you finalize logistics for fall programming, please do not forget to update the ALX Beyond Provider Portal. Programs expire after their end date has passed, so they are no longer visible to the public. This practice is in place to ensure the listings on the locator remain up-to-date for youth, families, and community members. For that reason, every provider should log in to update their programmatic listings to ensure that your programs are updated and visible to the public.

The ALX Beyond Youth Program Locator has only been online for the start of one school year, and there have already been over 7,400 views. This is a vital resource for our community. As back-to-school communications are circulated this summer and fall, the ALX Beyond Youth Program Locator will also be extensively promoted. Please make sure that families and youth know about the exceptional opportunities you offer.
